We’re always looking for ways to support our pupils’ learning. Our interactive classes provide a rich, inclusive and accessible experience, where all our pupils have plenty of chances to ask questions.
Our academic support classes go a step further by offering that additional support and consolidation to help your child build their confidence to help them achieve their academic goals.
See below for more information about our academic support group sessions and fees.
The Junior ILA Support Group is for pupils who benefit from additional small group instruction on how to approach completing their Independent Learning Assignments. In these year group specific sessions, the teacher will help your child build a toolkit of key strategies for successful ILAs, including breaking down the question, time management, how to ask the right questions and many more.
As part of the Junior ILA Support Group, your child will work towards becoming independent in completing their ILAs. All of these strategies will take place in the context of their assigned weekly ILAs for English, Maths and Science. By targeting misconceptions and providing that extra support, pupils are able to reach a deeper consolidation of their classroom learning.
If your child is enrolled with us and would like to join one of our Junior ILA Support Groups, then please take a look at the ones currently running and complete the form on the parent portal.
Our Secondary Academic Support Groups offer pupils a forum for questioning, clarifying and consolidating what they’ve learned in the virtual classroom. These are currently available for International GCSE and A-Level pupils, providing them with the extra support they may need to achieve to the highest standards possible.
We run these groups every week, with sessions lasting an hour. If your child is enrolled with us and would like to join one of our Secondary Academic Support Groups, then please take a look at the ones currently running and complete the form on the parent portal.
