Put your mind at ease

Your questions answered

We know that online education is a new concept to many people, but we’re ready to put your mind at ease and answer any questions you have.

If you can’t find the information you’re looking for here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

To enrol with us, all you need to do is submit our Enrolment Application form. Our Admin Team will then be in touch to confirm your subject selection, to provide details about fees and to take you through the next stage of the enrolment process.

We have intake dates every month through the school year, so you don’t need to wait for September to get started. We do ask that you give us some time for administration, by submitting your enrolment form by the specified cut-off date. This means we can get your child set up on our online schooling systems and make sure all the payment details are in place.

As we follow the English school academic calendar, our academic year begins in September and ends in July. Joining us part-way through the academic year is not a problem; your child will have access to all lesson recordings from the beginning of the year, so they can catch up on any missed content.

Our school starts from Year 4, age 8-9, and ends in Year 12, age 16-17. If your child is not the conventional age for their chosen year group, that is absolutely fine. We recommend request for a taster lesson so you can gauge the difficulty level of your chosen year group. You can also book a call with our Education Team for a personalised recommendation.

Yes. For each year group, we have a list of required reading, including textbooks. You can order these from Amazon, or other providers that ship to your area.

You can see a list of textbooks for each year group and Key Stage in our School Handbook.

To attend our live lessons, your child will need a laptop or desktop computer with up-to-date software, a stable broadband connection, a pair of headphones and a microphone (if they wish to take part verbally). There is also a list of required textbooks and learning materials for each year group, which you can find in our School Handbook.

To enrol with us, there is a one-off fee of £180. The fees for tuition depend on how many subjects your child studies, as well as their year group. You will also need to buy some required textbooks and learning materials. Sitting exams at an exam centre will also come at an additional cost.

We offer a flexible range of payment options. If you have a UK bank account, you can pay by monthly direct debit, while we also offer the option of paying by year or by term. Just select your preferred payment method on the Enrolment Application form and our Admin Team will send over confirmation on how to set up your payment details.

If you decide that My Online Schooling isn’t right for your child, you are not locked in to any long-term contracts (unless you choose to pay annually). Please refer to Section 6 of our Terms and Conditions regarding notice periods for leaving.

If you decide to leave us within the first 14 days of submitting your Enrolment Application form, you’ll receive a full refund of any tuition fees. The enrolment fee, however, is non-refundable.
