Live Taster Lessons
Key Stage 2 & Key Stage 3

We know that joining any new school is a big decision, let alone an online school – so we believe it’s essential that you and your child are both comfortable and confident with how our live, online classroom environment.

We can describe how our lessons work, however there’s nothing like trying it out live. Therefore we invite you to join one of our live taster sessions.

We are currently running the following live taster lessons:

  • Key Stage 2 – Maths, Teacher, Bethany Jamieson
  • Key Stage 3 – English, Teacher,  Alison Evans

Please note that the taster lessons cover general Key Stage learning content, therefore they should not be used to gauge year group placement of your child. This is an opportunity for prospective pupils to gain an introductory understanding of the online learning environment at My Online Schooling. Taster lesson pupils will experience what it is like to be in our live online classroom. The teacher may open up parts of the lesson to be interactive, however, there is no expectation for taster lesson pupils to interact if they do not wish to.

So if you’re unsure about how our lessons work, or if it’s the right fit for your child, sign up to a thirty minute taster session. Depending on your child’s year group, please select either the Key Stage 2 (Years 3 – 6) or Key Stage 3 (Years 7- 9) taster lesson buttons to register below. (Upon following either link, you will see the sessions available, along with the registration form).

Our taster lessons are primarily focused on providing prospective pupils with an insight into how the school and lessons work. If parents have specific questions about the school, then we recommend you attend one of our Open Events. In the meantime our Admissions Team are on hand to assist you further with any enquiries. Please see contact information below.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our live taster lessons!

*Please note that we are not currently running taster lessons for Key Stage 4 or 5 until further notice.
